[It's a gloomy day in Zaphias when Yeager makes his way to the castle, so much so that he nearly cracks a smile at the irony of it all.
He's clad in a long overcoat, looking sufficiently enough like an imperial businessman to avoid attracting stares. While normally his tread is light and posture straight, he's walking slowly and heavily today, hands in his pockets to resist the urge to clutch at his chest. Yesterday, he came to the disturbing realization that he could feel his heart pounding--something that could only indicate a malfunction, as the blastia-powered pump there normally works continuously, giving him no heartbeat at all. As the hours passed, the pounding feeling became accompanied by fierce, throbbing pain, so he drew up some excuse to his guildsmen about having the flu and cancelled his appointments, making his way swiftly to Zaphias to get the thing fixed.
It would certainly not be a pleasant experience--such meetings never were. He thinks sometimes about finding someone in Aspio that could do maintenance on his heart blastia, but it would be difficult to find someone he could entirely trust to keep quiet about it. Thus, he drearily passes through the doors and asks to see Alexei, hoping this fix will be quick.]
