Main Rules
- Please keep your language clean, swearing is alright, don't go overboard.
- Don't flame other members for no reason. If you have issues, don't bring it to the forum. Admins WILL stop it.
- Use common sense, really. If you wouldn't do it in-person, don't do it here.
- Put forum games in the proper section.
- When in doubt, PM an admin and ask.
- Keep your avatar and signatures rated PG-13 (No nudity, rape, excessive blood, etc.) and don't make them huge.
- Activity checks are on the 14th every month.
Profiles
- No more than TWO characters per-person. Having more than one account isn't required, but please change your name or add a list to your signature so we know who is who.
- You can only reserve ONE character upon first arriving. Once your profiles have been accepted and you have proven you will be active for one week, you can take your optional second.
- You have five days to complete your profile once you have reserved a character. If you wish to post it in order to save what has been done but you are not finished, mark your profile "WIP" in the title.
- When writing a profile PLEASE put a little effort in. Especially with personality. Your profile is proof that you know what you're doing with your character. We're not demanding long sample posts, so do your best with the rest.
- With weaknesses and strengths, it doesn't matter if you list them or explain them; however, if you are JUST listing them please add at least five of each. If you are explaining them, then 3 or 4 is fine. (If you add more, then power to you for being cool.)
- No one is expecting a novel when you write your application. Some people like writing them long, that's fine, but profiles are accepted based on quality, not quantity. We just want to know you understand the character you are signing up for.
Original Characters
- Using a character from another Tales game that is not related to Vesperia doesn't count as an OC, unfortunately.
- Please make sure that your OC works in the Vesperia universe. Don't tie them in with other games, it'll get confusing and mixed up.
- Make sure your weaknesses and strengths are evened out. Do NOT make Mary-Sues and Gary-Stu's. No one likes that.
- Please don't say they switched universes somehow. Someone who was an OC for Symphonia is not going to randomly teleport into the world of Vesperia.
Roleplaying
- NO GOD-MODDING!!! Any members caught doing this will receive one warning. A second warning is a week-long ban, and a third will result in booting from the forum.
- This is a "chat-style" based RP forum. To see an example, use this link.
- When you title your post, please add the location to it's name. Example: False Proposals - Zaphias [Yuri/Flynn/Sodia]
- If you are going to have a mature-content thread, it MUST be marked NSFW in the title.
- You must post in the ROLEPLAYING section at least ONCE a WEEK to keep your character. The posts aren't time-consuming, nor are we asking for long paragraphs. It shouldn't be a challenge.
- If you want private RPs between certain characters, tag them as such. (For example, you might title the thread: "Moonlit Sonata [Lion/Stahn]")
- To avoid pairing-wars, each character may only be paired with one other person. No one wants to deal with the drama. (Example: If Yuri and Flynn are together, no one else may be romantically paired with Yuri and Flynn.) However, regardless of who is paired with who, crushes are completely up to the mun of the character. Everyone on the board could have a crush on Yuri, but he would still only be romantically involved with Flynn (or whomever the mun picked).
- Just to make sure that people are actually taking a look at these, the p@ssc0de is My Pow-Hammer is manly.
Fan fiction
- When posting fanfiction, please follow this code...
Series: Title: (For fanfiction only.) Genre: (For fanfiction only.) Rating: Pairings: (If any.) Warnings:
- Add any important warnings for said fanfiction in the sub-title.
- If you post something that isn't yours, CREDIT IT! Link to the original or the place you found it.
