Name: Judith
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 142 lbs
Appearance: [ official ]
Judith, as her features make abundantly clear, is a Krityan, possessing blue, brightly-colored hair and even brighter 'head-tails'. These antennae, of sorts, act as an extra pickup line to the world around her, heightening her senses both on and off the battlefield. They also allow her to communicate mind to mind with the Entelexeia, regardless of distance. Her ears are distinctly pointed, and her eyes are a dark, deep red that can almost be purple in the right light. She has a kind-looking face, and she isn't at all afraid to use that to her advantage if the situation calls for it.
Years of pursuing her own personal vendetta have given her a physique that is, quite simply, rather good-looking. She has a slim, muscled build, in the sense that she is toned and not overly bulked out. Judith is also rather well-endowed up top, to put it mildly; but to her, it's just something else to use to her advantage. She is quite bold and confident, as well, and actually prefers to wear revealing outfits.
Judith is also, as she will happily admit, not a good liar. This is mostly because she can't help but show her feelings on her face, meaning that anyone paying even a smidgen of attention to her can tell exactly what she is thinking most of the time. She can usually cover this up with a rather nonchalant attitude and a smile, but in the moments when she gets truly emotional, her true feelings are visible for all to see.
Judith generally prefers a blue color palette, but she won't hesitate to branch out a little if the situation calls for it. Regardless of what she's wearing, however, she always makes sure to carry around a small knife strapped to her upper thigh. She feels very vulnerable when she isn't armed in some way, and as such always tries to make sure that she has some sort of weapon on her person at all times.

Strengths:
-Judith can conceal her intentions with a smile, an attribute that allows her to pull off feats like cleaning out every casino she stops in.
-Flirting has been a natural strength of hers since she was young, and she can use it to get almost anything she wants.
-While Judith can't openly lie to anyone about things that make her truly angry, she is quite good at sneaking around and concealing her actions from the people around her.
-Judith has very well-developed leg muscles that allow her to jump into the air and pull off all kinds of acrobatics without touching the ground more than a few times.
-Sometimes, Judith can't control her impulses. Those moments are rare, however, and she is, for the most part, a rational and quick-minded thinker who can effectively analyze any situation.
Weaknesses:
-Ba'ul has always been a weakness of hers, for she will drop everything and rush to take care of her friend, no matter what. In other words, she treats any threat to the Entelexeia as a personal threat to herself.
-Judith finds it very difficult to trust anyone, especially humans. Her faith in other individuals, save for Ba'ul, has been mostly shattered, and as such she keeps her secrets to herself.
-Anything involving Hermes blastia will bring out her more impulsive side, and she will often act rashly in order to destroy it without thinking of the consequences.
-Her lack of clothing to act as armor makes her more vulnerable to attacks, but she does this deliberately in order to make battle more 'exciting'.
Personality: Regardless of who she talks to or who sees her first, Judith always comes off as being very charming. Her outfit contributes to this, of course, making a powerful statement about her boldness and willingness to do things that are out of the ordinary. She also loves to flirt and tease anyone she runs across, giving her a significant influence over many of the men that she meets on her journeys. This often allows her to obtain anything from a fresh cup of tea to a room at the inn for the night, all free of charge and all offered to her on the basis of her personality and good looks.
Judith likes to smile, and if other people find it attractive- well, so what? She will make full use of any advantage that she has over other people if she truly needs something, and fortunately for her, making a good impression and winning strangers over is something that she excels at. Her sharp wit and maturity help her to leave a very favorable impression on people she has just met, making her practically unforgettable.
Despite her apparent inclinations towards social life, however, Judith is more of a recluse at heart. Given the choice, she would much rather be by herself most of the time-- with Ba'ul close by, of course. She doesn't say much when she's alone or preoccupied, preferring instead to hold most of her conversations in her head with Ba'ul, mind to mind. While she does not often actively seek out isolation, she values it when she can find it because it gives her a chance to really think things through and reevaluate her actions.
In times of stress, Judith is incredibly impulsive; she will do things to blow her cover if she judges that the situation calls for it, heedless of the consequences. She will very rarely explain to anyone why she acts in the way she does, however, and will stubbornly cling to the rightness of her actions without mounting a solid defense. Instead of denying what she did or attempting to explain her way out of trouble, Judith prefers to stick as close to the truth as she can get. Mostly, she either subtly changes the subject or drops the conversation altogether for one reason or another. She hates to talk about her past or the reasoning behind her actions, and will only truly talk about herself with others if she knows and trusts them very well.
Generally, she prefers to let others talk while she plays the part of the receptive audience. She learns more that way, and she always likes to have knowledge ready to use when she needs it. She doesn't make it very easy for people to talk to her, however, for her intensity and her unwillingness to hold conversations of equal importance about herself can often drive others away. In certain cases, Judith's temper frays and she lashes out, delivering harsh criticism of those around her if she feels they aren't living up to expectations.
On the whole, Judith is a very centered individual who does not often let her composure slip. She is passionately dedicated to the things that she cares about, although she will reveal that fact to very few. She leaves a terrific first impression on most people and endears herself to her companions through a combination of wit, geniality, and perceptiveness. Her friends mean a great deal to her, as well. Despite her natural social abilities, however, no one in the world will ever be as close to her as Ba'ul; she values him more than anyone she has ever met, and she believes that that will be the case for the rest of her life.
History:
Judith was born and raised in a prosperous Krityan city located at the peak of Mt. Temza. Her parents were each kind and loving in their own way, but her father in particular stood out to her. He was her role model and hero throughout her early life, and she aspired to be like him when she grew older. Even though he was often busy with his research for the Empire, he still found time for her. One of her favorite childhood activities was to hike through the mountains with her father, and it so happened that on one of those hikes, the two of them came across a small Entelexeia, who had quite literally fallen from the sky and landed in the path in front of him.
The Entelexeia had been wounded, apparently from flying through the storm that was brewing on the horizon. Judith had asked him, politely and worriedly, whether she had permission to help him- and by she, of course, she meant her father, who was far more experienced with blastia than she was and could heal to a small degree. The Entelexeia tiredly gave his consent, and her father carefully healed the injuries while Judith watched them both from a safe distance away, taking care not to interfere.
After that, it only seemed natural to invite the Entelexeia into their home in order to fully heal his injuries, since the top of a mountain wasn't the best place to apply first aid when a storm was drawing near. The Entelexeia-- Ba'ul, as he called himself when he was well enough to hold a conversation with her-- quickly grew dear to Judith's family and most especially to Judith herself, and when he was finally healed she asked him, in the matter-of-fact way of most six-year-olds, if they could still be friends. He'd said yes, and their relationship had blossomed from there until they were practically an inseparable pair.
All seemed peaceful for a while, but unrest was brewing in the Empire. Her father would often come home from his work looking and sounding stressed, irritated, and angry. She worried about him constantly and frequently begged him to stay home where she, her mother, and Ba'ul could all keep a close eye on him. However, the Empire wasn't inclined to let Hermes, one of their best blastia researchers, go home to be with his family for more time than was absolutely necessary. Especially when said genius researcher had just made a monumental breakthrough in blastia technology, creating a type that was far more powerful than anything that had ever been created before.
But when Hermes came home three months after her ninth birthday, furious and upset because he'd discovered that his work was ruining the balance of the world's aer, Judith knew something had changed. The Empire refused to remove the Hermes blastia, as they had come to be called, from common use, despite Hermes' own protests. The Great War broke out weeks later, and Judith's life was suddenly and utterly changed forever when her hometown was violently attacked.
Everyone within the city that she knew perished in the crossfire, and the buildings themselves were all but demolished. She only escaped because Ba'ul arrived at the last second and protected her from the battle, saving her life. He hurried her away from Mt. Temza and brought her to Myorzo while she buried her head into his neck and cried.
The inhabitants of the city accepted her with open arms, but she couldn't easily forget what she had experienced; Judith adamantly refused all offers of comfort and withdrew into her own private grief. She began to suffer from insomnia, a condition that she still occasionally affects her in the present day, and became frustrated with the scholarly, uncaring attitude that the residents of Myorzo showed to the rest of the world. She asked them if they even knew there was a war going on. They said yes, they knew, but since it didn't affect them, there was no reason to worry about it.
Judith, to put it lightly, disagreed with them. She was still young, however, and Ba'ul wouldn't take her back down to the earth far, far below because she had no way of protecting herself. She was left stranded in Myorzo, unable to be happy there but unable to leave. After a year, however, she came up with a solution; if she could learn how to fight, then she could protect herself.
With that, Judith set out to find a warrior Krityan. It wasn't easy, and many of Myorzo's residents stared at her strangely when she asked how to fight, but she eventually found someone. Rene was a talented fighter, skilled with the lance and with the techniques of blastia, and she taught Judith everything she knew- after a considerable amount of persuasion, of course.
When her young adult years finally rolled around, Judith declared that she was ready to face the world. Ba'ul agreed with her. But of course, right when she was ready to leave Myorzo for good, he asked her exactly what she was planning on doing now. She surprised him by smiling and telling him, quite self-assuredly, what she really wanted to leave the Krityan city for: to find and destroy all of the blastia that her father had wanted removed from use, back before the war began. It was her way of honoring his memory, as well as bringing balance back to the world's aer.
She then asked Ba'ul to help her on her quest, saying that she wouldn't be of any good to anyone without him. He accepted her offer, and the two of them forged a new bond that ran far deeper than anything she had ever experienced before. Before they left the city for good, however, she swore on her spear, Brionac, that she would destroy all the Hermes blastia in the world with Ba'ul's help. With that, the two of them departed and began their journey.
Judith learned much over the years, from the quickest way to destroy a blastia to the best way to converse with the other Entelexeia. She grew and matured, but she eventually realized that taking on such a quest attracted an awful lot of attention. As such, she donned a suit of armor and built up a rather notorious reputation for herself as the "Dragon Rider" so that she could freely pass through towns as plain old Judith.
She has seen the world on the back of her partner and best friend, but her quest has not yet finished, and likely never will as long as she remains committed to maintaining the balance of aer in the world.
Did you read the rules? That pow hammer there? Yes, that one? It isn't nearly manly enough.
