Garista has somewhat pale skin and gray eyes. His head is full of white-blonde hair that reaches below his waist and is neatly trimmed. He wears a long purple coat with a black shirt underneath that has a red stripe running up the center. He also wears a pair of blue pants tucked into black boots at the knees.

Likes: Quiet, reading, blastia research, tests going right, secretly likes snuggling up in piles of pillows or blankets/soft things, milk, wine, dogs
Dislikes: Loudness, Brashness, idiots, things going wrong, nosy people (though he is one), Storms (He has an irrational fear of them)
Strengths:
1; Garista is strong-willed in whatever he does. He believes in his goals and sticks to them no matter what. Even if these goals are either short-sighted or bad in the first place, he will carry through and finish what he started.
2; Garista is reasonable. He is a man beyond his years in strategy and tactical smarts. Because of this, he is analytical of every situation and easily justifies himself and what he does. If he is questioned, he can easily tell why he did what he did.
3; Garista is brilliant. Because Garista spends most of his time reading through books, Garista is learned in many different subjects and areas. However, because he reads so spoaradically, Garista's knowledge can begin and end odd places and he can know one thing about a subject, but not another.
Weaknesses:
1; Garista can be somewhat bull-headed. While he is smart, his strong-willed behaviour and amount of pride prevent him from giving up whatever he is doing. He will fight for something to the end, even if it is not a good endeavour.
2; Garista is not physically strong. While he can outwit you, he is not able to defeat many people in a physical battle. Because he relies on his blastia and spending his time researching, Garista' is not very big or strong.
3; Garista is untrusting. Despite reading many book on people and social interaction, Garista is unable to carry through. It is unknown as to whether this is paranoia or just an inability to be a social creature, however it prevents Garista from making friends or connections as others might.
Personality:
Externally, Garista is a somewhat withdrawn and distanced, appearing to be disapproving of many things and many people. He is socially awkward except to those he knows or have given him a reason to trust them. However, gaining said trust is hard and the process is tedious. Because of this mistrust, Garista is somewhat blatantly sarcastic to any and all who try to pry into his business.
With this brusque personality comes a withdrawn quality that tends to keep him from making many social connections. He is cautious and seldom is the first to start a conversation, much less a relationship of any kind. However, Garista is easily swayed by the promise of knowledge. Because of his neverending curiosity, Garista always is in the mood for new and interesting people and subjects to study.
However, Garista is somewhat shallow. He is not a very deep man except for when it comes to knowledge and there isn't too much past his surface exterior unless you know him. If you become friends with him such as Captain Nylen, you will obviously find the more squishy part of Garista. While still retaining some sarcasm, Garista is easier to be open and shows more emotion. With this, Garista jokes and laughs easier.
Garista is skilled in playing the violin, but rarely plays it for anyone but himself. He cannot handle large groups and especially cannot handle large groups focused on him; in fact, handling one person focusing on him is uncomfortable at best. However, the only exception to this is Nylen. Garista wouldn't mind playing for Nylen if the Commander asked. He is also a decent cook, though his repertoire is less-than-expansive (Waffles, salmon, grilled cheese, and one or two stews... kinda)
History: (This is pretty much all Headcanon)
Garista was born in Capua Torim to a moderately wealthy family that had him schooled by a private tutor for the better part of his life. Through these years, Garista gained a love for Blastia and the violin and developed a sharp mind. When he came of age, Garista was sent to the Knight's Academy where he enrolled and met the overtly friendly Nylen. Despite becoming friends, it was short-lived as Nylen was sent to do his duty and Garista was sent to do his own at their graduation.
Being a strategist, not a soldier, Garista went through other, various trainings to prepare for his job. Over the years, Garista gained a reputation as a good strategist and tactical soldier. He met Fainus Scifo once as his unit passed through a town and the two became acquaintances before Garista moved on.
Years later, Garista and Nylen met up once again at a conference where he met Flynn for the first time and learned of Fainus' death.
It was another year before he left his unit of knights and found himself re-assigned to the Shizontania Corps where he was to work under one Nylen Fedrok.
